  • Great show. Sarah and I didn’t realize there were seats up front so we were a bit further back with some friends. Thanks again and what an amazing show. Really special. Mike Layton
  • I went into this not knowing a thing about the Riverdaleshare – I thought it would be little sing along. OK I was wrong. What an amazing show!!! In fact I wish to share something with you I will NOT admit ever again – during the finale of “Hallelujah” I was standing in the aisle making a video with my iPhone and I started to cry – tears rolling down my cheeks. I was crying not because of the song (I hate LC actually) and not because of Jack Layton (I don’t have any connection with JL). I was crying because the theatrical moment was so majestic and magical – I forgot just how much a great and skilled performance touches me. I cried for the beauty of the art and of the moment… Phil
  • Thank you for the holiday cheer. Congrats on such a great event! Victoria
  • Thanks for the lovely afternoon ..lots of talent!! Fergus
  • We were once again completely blown-away by the Riverdale Share concert, not only because the performances were wonderful, but because the star wattage – ample, glorious and varied as it was – did not diminish the sense of community that makes the event so powerful. We feel lucky to live in Riverdale and to have our kids learning from the incredible team of dedicated folks at kitchen music, and I’d like to help out. Thank you. Peggy
  • You knocked it out of the park yesterday! You should be tired and happy. Peter Tabuns
  • On behalf of the Toronto Choral Society, I would like to thank you for allowing us to promote our new children’s choir, which we did by handing out flyers on the sidewalk outside the theatre, after the concert as people were walking out. We received many positive responses. And, by the way, the concert was fantastic. I loved it all. Anita
  • A triumphant concert and brilliant after party! I loved all the posters from the different years- what a great idea. Luba

  • Hey All! I had a great time and some amazing food and saw and heard so many great artists. And a great hang afterwards too. Great work by the crew and the volunteers and Tom and Steve…. Above and Beyond! Susan, what can I say….? You’re amazing and put your heart and soul into this. Congrats to all for a job well done. Wendell Ferguson

  • Thanks for a great concert…I saw lots of it from the balcony with my kids and it was a wonderful show…it was special to play with such wonderful musicians…I’ve always wanted to do that song and it was played beautifully…thanks Tom and everyone. what a spirit!! Fergus
  • A big thanks from me! And a special thanks to Tom Leighton for his arrangement of green Christmas. Very fun to play with the whole band like that and hear the horn lines going behind me. And another very special thank you to Susan Baker and the volunteer committee who have generously given so much time and spirit not only this year but previous years too. I wish I could have stayed, and partied with you all at St. Barnabas but I had to come, scoff and go… (scoffing in the eating sense of course) as I had another gig with the sound check at 8 down the Rd. Which went very well thank you. Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, cheery festival of lights, seasons greetings and sweet solstice to you all.—Robert Priest

  • Riverdale Share was indeed a special event. Put together with love and total professionalism. The band was phenomenal! The singers and performers were stellar – from young talented kids to the veterans – truly a community endeavor. The after-party was amazing – there was a great jazz ensemble entertaining, and fabulous food. I’m just sorry my camera battery was dead! Dammit! Coulda taken pix of Luba Goy, Steven Page, Russell DeCarle, The Eastminster Church Choir (who helped to back me up in O Holy Night), Suzie Vinnick (what a great version of Santa Baby) – I could go on and on – but….you really had to be there. :-) ” Debbie Fleming
